6. Our role when we manage client advertising accounts
When we manage a client's Google Ads or other advertising accounts, we typically act as a data processor. In that role:
we process personal data only on the client's documented instructions;
we ensure our staff and contractors are bound by confidentiality obligations;
we implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures;
we assist the client with responding to data subject requests where relevant;
we notify the client without undue delay if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting their data; and
we delete or return the data at the end of the engagement, unless we are required by law to keep it.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis for collecting personal data through their websites, forms, tracking tags and advertising accounts, and for providing any required privacy notices and consent mechanisms to their own customers. We recommend that clients review their own privacy policy and cookie consent setup, particularly where their advertising relies on conversion tracking or remarketing.
6A. Google user data
Omni Clix uses Google OAuth to connect to Google Ads accounts that our clients authorise us to manage. When a client grants us access, we request the Google Ads permissions needed to deliver the services described in this policy.
What we access. Depending on the scope of the engagement, we may access campaign and ad group structure, budgets and bids, performance metrics (such as impressions, clicks, cost and conversions), keyword and search term reports, conversion tracking configuration, and the account contact details recorded within the Google Ads account.
How we use it. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the advertising management, reporting, budget pacing and optimisation services that the client has engaged us to deliver. We do not use Google user data for advertising, including serving ads or building advertising profiles, and we do not use it to train generic artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Who we share it with. We do not sell Google user data and do not share it with third parties, except:
where necessary to provide the services, with service providers bound by equivalent confidentiality and security obligations;
where we are required to do so by law; or
with the client who authorised the access, in the form of reports and dashboards.
Storage and retention. Google user data is stored securely within the systems described in Section 12 and is retained only for as long as needed to provide the services. We delete it when the engagement ends or when access is revoked, unless we are required by law to keep it.
Your control. Account holders can revoke Omni Clix's access at any time through their Google Account permissions page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by asking us to remove access. Revoking access will stop our ability to manage the affected accounts.
Our compliance. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
7. Who we share personal data with

Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or transfers to countries covered by a UK adequacy regulation. encrypted connections (HTTPS) to our website and secure access to our systems;
multi-factor authentication on key business accounts;
access to personal data limited to staff who need it for their role;
confidentiality obligations for staff and contractors;
regular review of our access permissions and software updates; and
procedures for identifying, reporting and investigating personal data breaches.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will report it to the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours where required, and we will inform affected individuals where the risk is high.
13. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed;
have your data erased in certain circumstances;
restrict our processing in certain circumstances;
object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
data portability, where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means;

not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will normally respond within one month. We do not usually charge a fee, but we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse a request if it is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Where we process personal data as a processor on a client's behalf, we will forward your request to the relevant client and assist them in responding.
14. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about individuals based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. Where we use automated tools, such as campaign optimisation features within advertising platforms, these are used to support business decisions and are subject to human oversight.
